What a delivered concrete quote includes
Concrete pricing is simple when every line is on the quote before the truck is booked. Here is how we build a delivered price for Central Arkansas jobs, what moves it up or down, and how to get yours.
Priced by the metered yard
A mobile mixer batches the concrete at your jobsite and meters what is discharged, so the quantity on the record is the quantity you were supplied. There is no full-truck minimum. On very small pours a minimum invoice may apply, and it is stated on the quote, not discovered on the invoice.
The lines you will see on a quote
| Line | What it covers | What decides it |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete | The mix, priced per metered yard | PSI, fiber, air entrainment, high-early-strength, decorative or flowable-fill options — see the mix guide |
| Delivery | Getting the truck to the pour and back | Route distance, road and bridge conditions, access at the site |
| Service items | Only when they apply | Pumping if requested, waiting beyond the included window, after-hours or weekend timing |
| Minimum invoice | Very small pours only | Stated up front when the quantity is below the minimum invoice |
| Payment terms | How and when the job is paid | Card, COD or approved deposit for new and occasional customers; credit accounts by written approval |
Review the complete quote, not only the per-yard rate. Two quotes with the same per-yard number can land very differently once travel, minimums and waiting time are counted.
What makes a pour cost less
- Forms, reinforcement and any inspection finished before the truck arrives, so discharge starts on time.
- An accurate yardage. The concrete calculator turns dimensions into yards with a waste allowance, and carries them into the quote form.
- Clear access and turnaround room, with the path from the truck to the pour worked out in advance.
- A placement crew and equipment ready at the scheduled time.
- The standard mix for the job unless plans or an engineer specify otherwise.
- Grouping small pours on the same day when the route allows.
What makes it cost more
- Waiting for forms, crew or an inspector after arrival.
- Long or difficult routes, gates, soft ground or tight turnarounds that slow the truck.
- Pumping, specialty mixes and after-hours timing, each quoted as its own line.
- Ordering by guess: too little means a second trip, too much is wasted material.
Why we do not post a price list
A delivered price depends on the address, the route and the job. A number published without those would be a guess, and a guess is not a quote. Send the address, the yards or dimensions, the ready date and your number, and dispatch comes back with the complete delivered price. Standard jobs can usually be reviewed quickly when those details are complete; specialty, structural, public or rural jobs take more review.
Bags or delivered concrete?
Below about half a yard, bags can make sense if you have the mixer, the labor and the time. Above that, a metered delivery is usually less work and less waste. The calculator shows both the yards and the bag count for your dimensions.
